AndrOpen Office, the world's first porting of OpenOffice for Android, has recently celebrated reaching 7 million downloads. This powerful office suite allows users to view, edit, import, and export PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents using the full features of OpenOffice. It consists of five components: Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, and Math, which provide a range of functionalities from word processing to creating multimedia presentations and mathematical equations. AndrOpen Office is a forked project from the Apache OpenOffice project and is not affiliated with the Apache OpenOffice and LibreOffice projects. AndrOpen Office supports a wide range of file formats, including Microsoft Office formats, OpenDocument, PDF, and various image formats. It also offers features such as formatting paragraphs, support for embedded objects, password protection, and support for spell checking and thesaurus. The app supports multiple languages and offers localization options. It also provides integration with cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, NAS, and WebDAV in the paid version. Additionally, AndrOpen Office allows users to perform mouse operations using a virtual mouse pad and assigns device motion events to mouse events of the PC version.
