CDC Milestone Tracker

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released updated milestones and two new checklists for children aged 15 and 30 months. The checklists are designed to help parents track their child's development from 2 months to 5 years old. The app is easy to use and provides tips and activities to support your child's development at every age. Parents can also keep track of their child's doctor's appointments and get reminders about recommended developmental screenings. It is important for children to reach milestones in how they play, learn, speak, act, and move from birth to age 5. The app allows parents to enter personalized information about their child or multiple children and track their development by looking for important milestones using an interactive checklist. Due to COVID-19, photos and videos to support the updated milestones have been delayed, but will be added in a future update. The milestone checklist is not a substitute for a standardized, validated developmental screening tool. These developmental milestones show what most children (75% or more) can do by each age. Subject matter experts selected these milestones based on available data and expert consensus. CDC does not collect or share any personal information that can be used to identify you or your child.
