The Toronto Parking Authority has launched an app that simplifies the process of paying for parking. The app is now available for both on-street parking and non-gated, off-street carparks. With the Green P Locator feature, users can easily find available carparks by using their current location, location ID, address, or landmark. This eliminates the need to waste time circling the block in search of a parking spot. Paying for parking has never been easier with the Toronto Parking Authority app. Users can quickly and securely pay for their parking using their smartphone, eliminating the need to feed a meter in unfavorable weather conditions. Payments can be made using a credit card or a PayPal account, and users will receive email receipts at the end of their parking session. Additionally, the app provides alerts 10 minutes before a parking session is about to expire, ensuring that users do not have to worry about monitoring the time left on the meter. The app also offers the convenience of adding time to a parking session directly from the phone, as long as parking rules allow it. This means that users can extend their parking session without having to rush back to their car.
