The Jaguar Remote App is a useful tool for Jaguar owners that allows them to stay connected with their vehicle even when they are not in it. With the app, users can remotely check fuel range and dashboard alerts, locate their vehicle on a map, check if doors or windows are open, view journey information, request Optimized Jaguar Assistance in the event of a breakdown, plan future journeys, and connect their favorite music and lifestyle applications to their InControl account for use in the vehicle. For vehicles with InControl Remote Premium, additional features are available, such as checking on the vehicle's security status, locking/unlocking the vehicle, and cooling or heating the vehicle to the desired temperature prior to the journey. However, the availability and function of these features depend on the vehicle's capability, software, and market. To use the app, users must download the Jaguar InControl Remote App and log in using their Jaguar InControl username and password. The app requires a subscription to one of the following packages fitted to the vehicle: InControl Protect, InControl Remote, or InControl Remote Premium. It is important to note that only Jaguar/Land Rover apps may be used to access the vehicle or its functions. Unofficial apps are not endorsed in any way by Jaguar Land Rover Limited, and their use may cause security risks or other harm to the vehicle and its functions. JLR will not be responsible under vehicle warranty or in any manner for any loss or damage resulting from the use of unofficial apps.
