Map Coordinates

Map Coordinates is a versatile app that allows users to easily determine the coordinates and address of any point on a map. With a single tap, users can access world coordinates and utilize tools such as distance measurement, current GPS location, history/favorite locations, and the ability to share locations with friends via SMS, email, or social apps. The app supports multiple coordinate types, including decimal degrees, DMS, what3words, MGRS, UTM, and GEOREF. To find a location, users can either type or paste the address/coordinates in the search field or enter each coordinate value individually using advanced search options. However, what3words, MGRS, UTM, and GEOREF can only be searched using the single search field. The app recommends using the GPS location feature outdoors for the most accurate results, as GPS satellites are easily found without interference. If indoors, the location can still be accurately determined through a WiFi network if the device is connected to it. The app's side drawer menu allows users to navigate between different sections, such as History/Favorites, and switch between map providers. The available map providers are Google Maps and Open Street Maps, each offering different map types. Open Street Maps also includes a compass feature. Users can access settings from the side navigation drawer, where they can switch between coordinate types, adjust the visibility of the address bar, and enable additional tools like the Distance measure and Elevation tools. The Elevation tool displays the altitude of selected locations on the map. Please note that GPX and KML file types are supported with certain limitations, and UTM, MGRS, and GEOREF coordinate types are available as paid options.
