MetroSMART Ride

The MetroSMART Ride app is designed to help you keep your family safe, secure, and connected while on the road. The app requires a MetroSMART Ride OBD-II device, a compatible vehicle, a capable smartphone, and a data plan to install and use. The app provides seven categories of features for customers. The first category is Wi-Fi hotspot, which allows you to access America's fastest nationwide 4G LTE network from your in-car Wi-Fi hotspot. You can connect up to five devices to your in-car Wi-Fi hotspot and easily manage it. The second category is family safety, which enables you to keep an eye on your loved ones without creating dangerous distractions. The app is GPS-enabled to locate your vehicles in real-time, and you can check the location and status of multiple vehicles without contacting the drivers. You can also create geofences to get notified when your vehicles arrive and depart from common locations. The third category is vehicle safety, which provides real-time vehicle notifications about car trouble. The app works like a virtual mechanic to help keep your family safe. You can know your fuel level and battery voltage before you hit the road, get alerted about car trouble when something goes wrong, and understand what's wrong with your car so you can take action. You can also get safety recalls and technical service bulletins from the NHTSA and quickly find nearby mechanics to get the help you need.
