About Waktu Solat Malaysia
This app provides an elegant and convenient interface for prayer times, kiblat direction, and nearby masjid locations. It sources its data from E-Solat JAKIM and includes prayer times for Imsak, Subuh, Syuruk, Dhuha, Zohor, Asar, Maghrib, and Isyak. The app highlights the next prayer time to easily keep users aware. It also features a digital magnetic compass that uses the phone's sensor to quickly point to the Kiblat direction, with the phone vibrating when the direction is correct. The app is integrated with prayer times for Brunei, Singapore, and Indonesia, and offers additional features such as Surah Kahfi/Yaasin/Mulk, Hijri and Gregorian date display, reminder alarms for each solat, and navigation support for nearby masjid and halal food locations. It also supports international prayer times when traveling overseas and provides daily tazkirah notifications, a Tawaf clock, and a Salam Kad feature. The app requires Android 4.1 and above. To ensure accurate results for the kiblat direction, users are advised to place their device on a flat surface and keep it away from metal or magnetized objects. They can calibrate their compass by waving their phone in a figure 8 motion. Users with XIAOMI, REDMI, OPPO, and VIVO phone models need to enable autostart for azan and can find detailed instructions on the app's Facebook page.
