WiFi Warden: Map & DNS

WiFi Warden is a mobile application that allows users to access millions of Wi-Fi passwords and hotspots shared by the community for free. With this app, users can easily find the best Wi-Fi hotspot or password for their current location or anywhere else in the world. In addition to searching for Wi-Fi, WiFi Warden offers other features such as the ability to see who is connected to your WiFi and test your internet connection speed. Users can also share their own Wi-Fi passwords with the community. The app uses DNS over HTTPS (DOH) to ensure a secure connection, which is faster than a VPN and unlimited. To use WiFi Warden, minimal mobile data is required to locate the nearest shared Wi-Fi spots. Users can then connect to these spots and enjoy free internet. If no shared hotspots are found in the vicinity, users are encouraged to give the community some time to grow, as more shared Wi-Fi spots will become available over time. The app offers various features, including connecting to hotspots shared by others, analyzing WiFi networks, calculating WPS PINs of routers, creating strong passwords, and viewing saved WiFi passwords (requires root access). It also allows users to test internet connection speed and find open ports of devices on the network. While most features of WiFi Warden do not require root access, there are a few exceptions. To connect using WPS, root access is required for Android 9 or newer versions, but not for Android 5 to 8. Root access is also needed to obtain the serial number of an access point and check WPS lock on all Android versions. It is important to note that WiFi Warden is not a hacking tool and using it for illegal purposes is prohibited. To access the nearest shared hotspots in a new region for the first time, an internet connection is required. Additionally, not all routers support connection using WPS, and in such cases, users can use the passphrase to connect to the WiFi. Some Samsung devices may encrypt passwords, and decrypting them may require additional information found on the internet. The app includes tools developed for testing and educational purposes, and users are advised to use them at their own risk.
