Google TV, formerly known as Play Movies & TV, offers a convenient way to access and enjoy your favorite entertainment all in one place. It allows you to easily find what to watch next by browsing through a vast collection of over 700,000 movies and TV episodes from various streaming apps. These titles are organized into topics and genres, and you can also receive personalized recommendations based on your preferences and what's currently trending. Additionally, you can search for specific titles to see which streaming apps offer them. In addition to providing a comprehensive library of content, Google TV also allows you to stay up to date with the latest releases. You can purchase or rent the newest movies and shows directly from the Shop tab. These purchases are stored in your Library and can be downloaded for offline viewing. You can enjoy your content instantly on various devices, including laptops, Android phones or tablets, and TVs with Google TV or Play Movies & TV compatibility. Google TV offers a convenient feature called the Watchlist, which allows you to create a single list for all your discoveries. You can add interesting shows and movies to your Watchlist to keep track of them and view them later. The Watchlist is synced across all your devices, so you can add items from your TV, phone, or laptop through the Search function on any browser. Furthermore, Google TV provides a remote control feature within the app, eliminating the need for a physical remote. This allows you to find something to watch even if your remote is misplaced. Additionally, you can use your phone's keyboard to quickly input passwords, search terms, or movie names on your Google TV or other Android TV OS devices. Please note that Pantaya, a streaming service, is only available in the US. Additionally, certain streaming services or specific content may require separate subscriptions for access.
